This pan is not engineered to be user friendly. The way the handle is put on and taken off is archaic. It is far too difficult to use and very frustrating. Also the glass lid is a terrible fit. It will not sit on the fry pan and does not seem that it ever settles into place.

I bought this to make breakfast at the office, and it is fantastic. It sure beats eating restaurant breakfasts – cheaper, and I know what I’m eating! Like others, I leave the handle attached because all you have to do is wipe it out, no need to submerge the pan. There is a small hot spot in the front of the pan, but it doesn’t interfere with cooking. You can’t go wrong for this price.

I travel periodically and am on a medical diet. Most of the food offered in restaurants is taboo. Often on my trips I found myself wishing to make my own food in the hotel room. Aside from upgrading to a hotel room with a kitchen, which can be expensive, how could I do this?
This small, lightweight, versatile electric skillet was the answer. In it I can fry an egg and several slices of bacon or make a veggie stir-fry or quickly sear a hamburger to a T. It does it all, does it dependably, and cleans up fast.
And when it comes time to pack up the suitcase, it leaves a very small “footprint.”
Now, I eat well on the road in the comfort of my hotel room and know that I haven’t cut corners with my medical diet.

We bought this for a trip to Hawaii because we want to save money by not eating out all the time. It is perfect. It won’t take up much room in our suitcase and yet it works great.
